On my way to work just a block from my house, i was in the left turn lane, not paying much attention and i look over and notice this, white car with skyline taillights, and look on the trunk and see a GTR badge and sure enough on the rear bumper i see the letters S K Y L I N E. i almost nutted right then and there, he makes the right turn and guns it, i hear a big fucking turbo spool and a loud BOV. damn i hope he lives near me. that thing was fucking sweet.

At least it was a car this time and not a guy Tom. On another note, it is just a car. Skylines are cool, but not the end all be all IMO. And no neither are DSM's.

You're guessing I live in Japan? Just look at my sig! Come here and you can have your very own r32 for around 2 grand. What style skyline did you see? Like r33 or R34 or whatever.

Nissan makes a Skyline V35, which is our Infinity G35. They are cosmeticaly identical on the exterior, sans the "S K Y L I N E" badge were "INFINITY" sits in the rear.
There's one in Madison near the U. Black. My roommate took pics. I'll try to post later.
Those skylines are fuckin sweet in those pics! I'd love an R33, black with gold rims.
Oooohey
I saw a PIMP Black Supra Turbo limited edition. Black, GT Front Mount, Coulda been Apexi exhaust, newer or just really clean. Asian guy. Sweet car.

True about the G35 being a Skyline. But the G35 is NOT a GTR, which is the Skyline most people want (or in Tom's case come in his pants. They don't make the GTR anymore and it wasn't just the AWD that made it special it was also the RB26DETT engine. The new Skylines switched to a V6 (which sucks by the way). There's also the Super-HICAS all wheel steering system.
Here's a good website that covers skylines (including the Infinities):
http://www.jbskyline.net/
You should quickly notice a G35 is crap compared to a GTR. Kind of like a 3G eclipse to the originals.

that silver one is not a gtr. It's a GTS25. The black one is a GTS-T. The blue one is a GTR33

TURBOS my friend! Unlike Supras, very few Skyline owners swap to a single turbo.
In response to Mike's post:
As far as turbocharged import cars, the GTR truely is pretty much the end-all. It is more technologically advanced than just about anything available, and the power it is able to make puts the Supra to shame while still being able to maintain as a DD. I'd love to own one, its too bad they are so expensive to get here. I wonder if the importing process to Canada would be any easier...maybe license it as a Maxima or something :stick:

It was a R34 GTR. Definatly fucking sweet.
if you wanna know how truely insane this car is, go to a downloading program and DL the episode of "Top Gear" where they go over the skyline. its pretty sweet.
yeah chris, thats what i meant to say, my bad. I did know that it was Twin Turbo

Anyone who doesnt think skylines are god are obviously from Japan and if it isnt a r34 GTR I dont want it. If I ever saw one in person I would literally crap myself (not really) but I would be in complete awe!!! Skylines are the sweetest car around and if I had one I dont know if I would drive it much. I would just rub it with a diaper and keep it in the garage. If I am correct a Skyline built correctly can produce over 1000 hp. I bow to Skylines. But i give Nissan a **** you for not releasing them in the states!!!
