Re: Possible spyder partout?
Who knows what's gonna happen. If there's enough interest, the part out will happen. If not, I'll still be happy. It can go different ways. Maybe I'll keep the shell and years from now I'll build a high revving aluminum rod setup? Or else jump on the evo x bandwagon?

Re: Possible spyder partout?
I've already slapped myself a couple time just starting this thread. But I've gotta get back in school. I can't build gm transfer cases and driveshafts my whole life.

Yeah but I'd rather do something that I can see myself doing 30 years from now. And wrenching is already taking a toll on my body. I could probably do it part time but not full time. It's starting to taking away my interest in my own cars which I don't ever want to happen.

Re: Possible spyder partout?
Right now there is not too much interest. I would possibly like the engine sold first. Unless someone wants to buy the whole thing. Or maybe if nobody shows interest then it won't get parted out.

This seems to happen to everyone, there are so many people in your shoes that do this as a job and don't want to do it for fun anymore.
Good luck, but for the time and money into the car, I'd say just sit on it or sell something else if you have to.

Re: Possible spyder partout?
just switch work places. try to find a place that is fun to work. Maybe a local "race shop" is looking for a good mechanic to help build cars.
I find for myself - work on "projects" is always more fun then "ruitine" work over and over again.
