Are you going to start selling them?

Copying someone else's product and competing against them? Unfortunately, it's done all the time, but it's a shitty thing to do.

Yeah I get this, but Kiggly has done awesome things for community.

We can get Mivec on DSMs, he reveals all kinds of issues with our cars, look at DSMreck's thread he has called Kiggly all kinds of time and he hands out all kinds of info even if you don't buy anything.

You should copy the oil pumps or T-case braces, I'd think those would be easier, and you wanted competition I believe there are 2-3 diff. people making each of those.

Re: WTMeasure: kiggly HLA regulator

Kevin and his wife are the nicest people I have talked to about dsm's or info in general. They always call back and Kevin and I have had well over hour long conversations as he drives from work to go work on our dsm stuff he does, and many times he has called me to talk and ends up closing the shop without getting anything done just to pass loads of valuable information to me. There are things Kevin has told me that are literally invaluable to me. I felt like I should have been paying him for this info. I have everything kiggly racing makes that u can run on my car and I am very happy. I had a crank trigger issue a while back and as he was walking me through it he was ready to make custom one off plates for me if I needed it. Kiggly racing deserves their place in the market and it would be a fukin shame if people started copying and killing his business as so many others have done before eventually butt hurt happens and people say f it to dsm. Their prices are very fair for the time and research put in, after all he does this after a full days work and has a wife and kids. You have to pay to play and Kevin has done all the leg work so IMO if you want to believe the man and believe his knowledge and products are worthwhile then pay the guy. If your that hard up call him and tell him your too poor and make payments or something. Sorry for the rant but I'd hate to see such a good guy go the shep route and pretty much say screw you guys. Btw I really like Tim zimmer also. He is another one of those guys that just cares and he continues to work hard to keep the dsm dream alive. Give them your dollars and thank them both.

Re: WTMeasure: kiggly HLA regulator

To be clear on my part, I talked with him about the design and before borrowing one (which I own one now). I had questions regarding different oil weights and contents along with the idea of other fluids such as an inline oil pressure regulator for turbos etc and many other related topics. The goal was the help him develop or even get his input on making regulators for my PERSONAL and custom applications not for resale. I agree he is a huge asset to the DSM community and wouldn't try to copy and sell the sale product remotely.

Kevin is a great guy, I talked with him for a long ass time at the first ever proving grounds about his setup.

This thread can be closed if the forum owners deem it inappropriate. I guess i'd just prefer people not post if they don't want to help me out, rather than berating me for assumptions you're making about my purpose.

Re: WTMeasure: kiggly HLA regulator

BTW, Kiggly's part was already knocked off and copied back in 2011.

And the purpose of the post was not to copy and sell his product.
