Furniture Resotration

Was curious if anyone has ever had to take some old piece of wood furniture anywhere local to the cities for a full on restoration or repair. I have a very old and important family item from Germany that my grandma brought over that I want to have restored. Looking for some leads.

I can ask my mom...she had some old chairs restored and they came out nice and have held up very well.

What needs to be repaired on them? My mom does refinishing and minor repairs.

Re: Furniture Resotration

Hope this link works.

https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/...58180117_n.jpg

it's on 3 legs and the rear one stripped out and the damn thing fell over while in the corner. There is a shelve inside that fell and now it won't spin and we can get an arm or anything in to fix the shelve, make it rotate, but also want to fix the legs.

In the end, I want the thing to be as original as possible, but refinished to a point where it's gonna last another 80-100 years. It's a very important piece for me and my family so I want the best and I'll pay for it.
