Attention Evo X Owners

I'm asking for a favor! I'll be buying a new car next month and am stuck between an STi hatchback and an X. I've ridden in a few STi's, but have yet to even sit in an X. So, I'm wondering if there is anyone willing to give me a 20-30 minute ride. I don't care what's done to it, I just want to get a sense for how these are on the streets. I work in Mankato and can meet anytime after 7-730. I'll drive to you and I'll throw $20 your way for gas and your time. If you're charming enough you might even get dinner out of me. Lol

Below is my cell number, thanks in advance!

Re: Attention Evo X Owners

Honestly, go visit Trogdor @ WBL Mitsu and take a nice test-drive in a stock X so you can get a feel for what you'd actually be getting into, then transform it into the car YOU want it to be. It's a much better platform than the STI, the only rear drawback to the X vs. the STI is cargo room.

Driving around in a fully modified car won't really give you a feel for what the car really is to begin with. Sure it'll be fast and awesome, but, doesn't really tell you much about the car itself since you'll be so focused on the power.

Yeah, pretty much this! I'd be happy to drive you around in mine and even let you drive it. But you're much better off driving one that is stock, because that's what you would be buying (I assuming you're buying new).

Do Saturdays work for you? We're open until 9 week days, but that might be pushing it from Mankato.

But, on paper why buy and Evo over an STI?
Recaro seats.
Superior all-wheel drive system
Cheaper
Lack of ringland failure!!!!!
You can actually find them. We have a few in stock right now, but we're the largest Mitsu dealer in the upper midwest. If we don't have it, we can get one for you.

Give me a call 612-720-8155 or shoot me an email if you're interested in coming to check one out.

Re: Attention Evo X Owners

I would ride in scheides' cause it will be awesome but in all reality talk to trogdor. My wife just got her X from them last week. They even shipped it from texas for her since a guy decided to go mitsu after being on a waiting list for a sti and bought the whicked white one she wanted. He even had money down and still bailed on the sti.

And we don't turn people away just because they're a woman, lol.
"Are you sure? That's a lot of car." We still laugh about that one here.

Yea visiting Trogdor @ the dealer is actually a really good idea...get a feel for a stock car and see how you like it...then coordinate when you're gonna be up and I'll take you for a spin in mine too, so you can have some idea of what you're getting into.

Dude! That's me!

I didn't realize when she said this was the car she wanted, that she meant exactly this one. Sorry that I stole it, wasn't on purpose. Glad to hear she was still able to find the one she wanted.

It was on the first page of this forum and said "Attention Evo X Owners", and I was like "that's me!". That how I found it.

I haven't been keeping up with this forum yet. Been spending most of my time on evomn so far. I'm trying to diversify.
