Where can I get u-joints and/or CV joints rebuilt?

Is there a shop that specializes in this around here? I figure you need a press to get some of the stuff apart, but I can remove the parts and bring them in.

My rear end stuff is clinking and seems to have a lot of "lash" I don't believe it's the diff since there's a loud click on each side whenever I take off.

You dont need a press, but its a messy job thats not fun at all.

Just bring your axles into napa as a core, pay 50 bux, and walk out with a nice clean new axle.

They will just look at me funny if I tell them what it's from. They'll say, "A Concord?" In other words, is I don't like napa too much.

^^^ Reminds me of Auto Value, half of them have Talon's under AMC, as in the AMC Eagle not AMC Eagle Talon. Retards...

Yeah, and I need to drop off an old cracked engine block there. Maybe I should pay a visit. I should call first though. Or just explore the option of rebuilding it myself. I guess there's a technical service bulletin out for the clicking.

If the car is the same(I.E. Eclipse/Talon/Laser) the parts will be the same, and the results will yield him the same.

I'll check north metro stock tomorrow at work, online search shows nothing for Oreilly's so odds are there are none in stock.

Re: Where can I get u-joints and/or CV joints rebuilt?

Yeah, it's kindof the reason I went straight to asking where to get them "rebuilt." You two have learned the quick and easy way that you can't just go buy shit for this car. You either make it/do it yourself, or pay someone a lot of money to do the same thing.
