e-85 conversion

i know theres a few e-85'ers on these boards. and im curious what all is needed to get my 2g dsm running on e85, cause to be frank. i paid 3.80 a gallon for gas last week and its getting old fast.

E85 is less expensive... but you won't get the same gas mileage so it all evens out pretty much.

Don't you have to do shit to your lines?

I guess I don't really know because I'm pump 92 fo lyfe, but I thought the alky eats through rubber hoses?

You end up spending about the same wieh the gas prices are higher but you save some when they are lower. Plus you can get more power off of E85. Get bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, and something to tune with like a wideband and a safc and you will be set. Some replace the fuel rail with a anodized one but it has been done without with no problems. Good luck.

Don't worry about factory lines, it's a non-issue, at least for several years. And if you do have to replace your one or two rubber lines, they're about $30 new from Mitsu.

you cant control the huge injectors you'll need with a safc you'll need to run link or ams

There isn't really anything to convert. Technically you're not sopposed to be using aluminum fuel rails, factory seals, etc. I have ran it on the stock fuel system w/dsmlink. Just for DD. Just make sure you have an ample fuel supply.
