Dumb question

Does the 14b and the T-25 have the same O2 housing bolt pattern? Tried looking up a few pics, and it looks like it.

I know the intake pipe comes off at a different angle, but to my knowledge that was the only difference.

Yes, guys use 2G o2 housings on 1G's all the time. For a 3s, not sure but I would think so.

Re: Dumb question

I've thought about going T-25 on the car once, and i'm thinking again. Doesn't make much sense since i have one 14b, and picking up another one. But the 14b's are able to do 500 hp to the crank. More than i need, and thought less lag would be nice. But can't go wrong with more power.

Re: Dumb question

From what I've heard T25's don't spool all that much faster than a 14b.

Re: Dumb question

I've heard the spool a hair faster, and when i'm using 1.5l of displacement to push it. And i'm not looking to set a record, the T-25 sounds like the reasonable choice. But i'm still going 14b for now. If i get some extra cash, and get bored some time i may drop a few of them in. Just to see how it runs. Do it over a weekend and change oil//coolant at the same time.

Anyways, thanks for the info, and if anyone else has anything to add in, i'm all ears!

Re: Dumb question

I say you should just stick with the 14b's. You probably won't even notice a couple hundred rpms difference in spool time when you're in the car on the gas and feeling the pull of all the power.

Re: Dumb question

Just stick with the 14b's, lag will be a mininal difference between the 2. I think it sounds fucking retarded when people put 14b and t25 in the same sentance as "lag"

Re: Dumb question

But not imagine running a 14b on let's say, a 1.5l honda motor. Which is what i'm up against.

I am going 14b, don't worry about that. I just figured someone would have done it by now but all the 3/s forums they do 14b's or Evo3 16g's.
