Well looks like mitsubishi is covering this one. when the engine went it decided to get a few punches in on the turbo. There was a wierd noise coming from the turbo after i got it back this last time and wayzeta mitsus mechanic said i needed to replace it again, but said i could drive it until they get the new one in. for the past two months ive drivin the rental more then ive drivin the gsx. WTF.

Tom, you could just have a non-warrantied DSM and be stuck with a red pile of shit. Just be thankful you're getting a new car for very little money. Mind you, it'll still be slow. :P

Once you get everything done you should buy a MT 2G with blown engine and toss your new engine/turbo in.

I haven't driven my car since the last dynofest. Been ~3 months so far. What really sucks is that I thought it would take about a month to get all the parts and install them so I left it insured. I finally cancelled my insurance yesterday having lost $600 in insurance and I still dont have all the parts yet.
Atleast your parts are paid for.

Haven't driven my 94 Talon since early-November. Hell, I haven't even seen the car in over a month now, just looks like a giant snowbank.

For those of you who don't know. I totaled my 96 Eclipse a few weeks ago. I pick up my new 98 Eclipse GS on Saturday morning. It has 68xxx and a warranty from Wyzata Mitsu that lasts another year and 2 months.

Your car is still stock under the hood. We'll see how long it runs before breaking... if it ever gets modded.
And for the record, I've gone almost a year now without driving the car that I bought.
