Tivo, DVD Recorder, anyone?
Adult Swim is airing EVERY squidbillies episode December 28th, starting at 10:30pm.
I NEED these, as I find this show hilarous.
Does anyone know the best way of getting the shows off the tv and onto a DVD? DVD recorder?
I don't want to stick them on VHS, and the season "series" isn't out yet on dvd.

Buy a DVD-recorder or throw them on a VHS for now and then find someone who has the DVD-recorder later.

Kind of what I am leaning towards.
Does anyone have any experience with DVD recorders?

Swanny, we could hook ya up. I can record them on DVR and pop them onto DVD with our other DVD recorder. How many episodes are we looking at?

Microsoft Media Center can rip video right off the cable, though you need a video card with a co-ax input, or perhaps a converter that plugs into your usb port.
orrrrr you could do what everyone else does and just use bit torrent.

If it's at all popular with geeks it will pop up on bittorrent or usenent as a download. Let someone else do all the hard work.
I can check for you tonight and let you know if it's downloadable.

Re: Tivo, DVD Recorder, anyone?
I've got a DVR that records directly to DVD. Like a VCR. it works pretty good if you have the right disks. I could probly do it but I wouldn't be awake or around to switch disks.
just go to walmart and piclk one up there only about $75 now.
