Re: 2008 Lancer
I like it. Now if they just add a turbo to the engine and make it a competitor to the WRX, I would rock it as a DD.

Re: 2008 Lancer
Doesn't look too bad for being mitsu's cheap little 4-banger economy car. Id say it looks better then any domestic economy car, or a sentra or corolla.

Re: 2008 Lancer
Yeah, at least they didn't copy anyone. Looks a lot like the Skyline is supposed to. Lets see the Evo version.

Re: 2008 Lancer
It weighs 3,109 lbs.
All Lancer models are powered by an all-new 2.0-liter 152 hp aluminum DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder engine (143 hp PZEV in Calif.) teamed to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Those are some sad numbers...

Re: 2008 Lancer
I like it, I think its the best looking current Mitsu; its leaps and bounds ahead of the '06 Lancer in the styling department. I look forward to seeing the EVO version of it, I'm hoping they give the X a 6-speed too and not just that automanual thing.

Re: 2008 Lancer
This is a pretty big improvement in my book, the power is decent for its class and it doesn't look like a rental car anymore. Hopefully the interior and suspension is updated to compete with that of the Civic and 3.

The power isn't bad for an economy car, but it weighs 400 lbs more than I would expect it too. A car that heavy should have a V6.

Re: 2008 Lancer
I like it as well. As long as the gas milage on it turns out to be good (I've read some mixed results on other cars using the CVT system (Like the Dodge Caliber) I think it's a winner. Allthough, I have not liked the interior on any of the Lancers thus far, so if that isn't upgraded I'd never consider one.

Re: 2008 Lancer
I dont like it much. I like the side profiles just fine, its the head lights and tail lights, their sizes, and their positions that turn me off. I doubt I will like the Evo version much more.
