Re: turbo setup

Oil lines, water lines, crush-washers, J-pipe, gaskets for everything, 4 new manifold/turbo bolts.

Re: turbo setup

Call Brookdale Mitsu, they give a DSMStyle discount and ship stuff quickly and for a reasonable price. If you need me to, I can make a complete list of everything you'll need.

Re: turbo setup

-turbo outlet/J-pipe gasket
-manifold to turbo gasket
-turbo to o2 housing gasket
-manifold/turbo bolts (4)
-crush-washers for water in/out lines
-crush-washers for oil feed (4)
-gaskets for oil drain (2)

Hopefully you can get the water/oil lines used with the turbo. You'll have to order the J-pipe from a shop or have one custom made.

Do they still give discounts over there?

Why not just get a T28

Re: turbo setup

Do you have hard pipes for your t25? If so chop it in the middle where it goes up and put a piece of stock IC piping between and that works istead of the aftermarket J Pipe. I can take a pic fo what mine looks like if you want.(its kinda ghetto but shit it was FREE and FAST)

Re: turbo setup

i only have a upper IC pipe w/ 1g bov, intake, and MBC running at 14psi on t25.. i am rewiring my fuel pump on friday though and picking up the turbo on sunday. i am getting a damn good deal on the 14b thats why i am getting that instead of a t28... so i will hopefully get the rest for a good deal.

Do yourself a favor and buy a new banjo bolt for the head too. Everytime I've taken one off it breaks when I put it back in (stupid 24" biceps!).

Hey Noob hes got a 2G there isnt a banjo bolt on the head (JK). So he will have to get one anyways because the 2G oil line from the Oil filter housing doesnt fit on a 14B.

There is a chart there that tells you what you need and stuff as for fuel.

Re: turbo setup

I hear ya man, I had to double think that. I forgot about the 7bolt a little. But you did remind me that I needed a new banjo bolt for there so you helped me out.

And just an FYI talonTSI, If you wanna pick up the banjo from mitsu they have to order them in.

Re: turbo setup

I have some 1g oil lines for much cheaper than the dealer if you aren't getting them with the turbo. I am pretty sure you could get by with using the stock turbo bolts also. I have done it before without an issue and I think thet are like $7 each if I can remember correectly. I have some used extras of those also.

Re: turbo setup

My honest opinion would be to go with the T-28 its a direct replacement to the T-25. you can get them pretty cheap. Prolly get it installed in about 3 hours if you have a coffee break for 15 minutes and smoke cigarettes every 30 minutes. LOL
The T28 pulled pretty good in my 99 GSX auto.

He asked what you need to make it work. If he's getting the parts cheap - why not? Just make sure you have EVERYTHING before you start. Otherwise you could be waiting days to get it back up and running.
