On the way to Rock Falls...
This morning my buddy picked me up at 5:30 to head out there. We ended up meeting some people at the target in St.Paul next to 94. There were about 20 or so people there, and as we were leaving the cops decide to come to see what was going on. I was in a primer black 240sx. Well we were the last ones out of the scramble to leave, and of course we get pulled over by two state troopers. He asked us if we were doing any "Sunday NIGHT racing" this was at 6:30 in the morning. Those cops were not to smart, we said no and he asked why he had racing harnesses and many other stupid questions. We eventually got out of that and proceeded on our way. Then as we are on 94 we pass a state trooper that was on the other side of a 4ft. meadien, I saw the cop before we had passed him and told my buddy to slow down and there is a cop ahead. We were going 115 mph, so he slowed down. About 15 minutes later, that same cop pulls us over, I guess that he had clocked us going 95mph. About 2 minutes later another state trooper shows up, then another, and another, and another. There were 5 state troopers on the side of the road by the time we had gotten the ticket, I wish that I had a camera. He gave us a ticket for going 95 in a 65, that is a $282 ticket. Other than those little mishaps, Rock falls was very fun and I met allot of cool people.

Come on Bode, you should have known better than that. I'm guessing you weren't the driver? Didn't care what the GST ran? Anyway, sucks to hear about the cop part.

Re: On the way to Rock Falls...
I actually didn't see many cops on the way out there. Just on the way back (5ish or so). What time did you guys head out there? We were passing Menomine at around 7:45-8.

Re: On the way to Rock Falls...
Not to be a dick, but I always laugh at these clowns who speed to Rockfalls and end up getting pulled over. The cops know when the RockFalls days are and they step up their patrols b/c its easy out-of-state revenue.

There should be an MN Gumball rally, that'd be awesome.

5 more MPH and you wouldnt have your license right now. Anything over 100 is a license yanker. Consider yourself lucky.

Re: On the way to Rock Falls...
Not to be another dink here but doing that fast was completely stupid. Another reason why imports are stereotyped so much. I think street & hiway racing is pointless, dangerous and just plain dumb.

Re: On the way to Rock Falls...
Plus that would be the shortest gumball ever, wed make it like 150 miles before the first flat bed had to be called out.

Re: On the way to Rock Falls...
Haha, no way 150 miles could be covered at WOT/near WOT w/o a DSM breaking and/or blowing up first. I'd give it 20 miles at the most before someone had a failure

I feel obliged to say that Bode wasn't the driver. So he wouldnt have lost his license anyway, his friend would have.

Haha your right, I guess the only DSM's that would make it to the finish would be the 1.8's
