manifold question

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DSM-E...QQcmdZViewItem

Looking at that and it looks good to me. It also says it has a warranty for life against flaws in craftmanship and cracks. Ive heard stories before of these not being the best but if it has a lifetime warranty?.. Also will this be better than my stock 2g manifold?

Re: manifold question

Nothing like a good 'ole SSAutoShit manifold. WTF do you need a different manifold for in the first place?

Re: manifold question

They don't crack, the whole flange falls off and then they don't warranty it.

Re: manifold question

Buy it up, get some triangular shaped "gussets", if you will, and weld them at four corners of the flanges to the pipes. it'll be way stronger.

It's not the welds that are the problem, its their thin poor quality stainless that cracks. I've had numerous people bring these things in and seen numerous break 1st nad and its usually not the weld the metal itself just lets go.

Re: manifold question

Thanks. Looks like no manifold from them for me. And the reason Im buying a new one is because my friend offered to buy mine off me for his 1g so I figured why not buy a better one for my car.
