I guess I dont understand what that white tube is for, was it not plugged into that connection?

Also you probably should have worn gloves...

Re: My 2005 CTS-V

My point exactly, what is that stupid tube for? It was plugged into that dead end hole, but I took it out for picture purposes, and to verify that's where all the fuel from the pump was shooting out of. I'm going to take it off completely and take it into GM and see if they can tell me what it's for or how it's supposed to operate. I'm pretty sure it's broken.

Re: My 2005 CTS-V

Ok so I have confirmed the white plastic thingy is the siphon from the other side of the tank, but I don't think fuel from the feed line is supposed to go out where the black lines are pointing. So I removed that piece (temporarily for testing purposes) and hooked the pump straight to the tank output. I verified I'm getting full flow now at the rail, over a gallon a minute with just 12v when the car was off. But now the car can't even hold 60psi at idle like it was before, I have no idea what is going on. Maybe there is a leak in the lines inside the tank at higher PSI, that's the only explanation I can think of, but I'm still stumped why it's even lower pressure with the pump going straight out the tank.

Re: My 2005 CTS-V

The tank outlet o-ring was sideways, fixed that and pressure is crazy good. It overruns the regulator at idle to 75psi, but under load it hops back down to 60 where it should be. Man this car rips, first time I did a full WOT pull to redline after my mods.

Now I just need to figure out how to siphon gas from the driver side of the hump over to the primary pump...

Good news!

Just don't grenade your rear diff like I saw a guy at Cedar Falls do this past weekend. He was wheel hopping like crazy, I just knew something would break. Lots of little aluminum bits...
