Sounds more like man card retained if you ask me After getting the estimates any thoughts of us doing it ourselves just didn't make sense. If anything I would have painted the exterior since I have experience doing that. I painted the garage walls and ceiling myself at least...

The piece above the mantle it about 20-25 feet high so I really didn't want to rent or buy a big ladder (nor rent a truck to haul it with).

Painting is easy, but writing a check is even easier LOL It was pretty damn nice coming home from work and just having everything done; I can't lie about that. I get enjoyment out of doing some projects and tasks, but painting isn't one of them. Janelle really doesn't have much time either with how busy she's been at work (and now out of town the next two weeks).
