Re: 4g!
Meth cooled, 4000 is just cost listed on the site, could maybe get free shipping out of them, probably install it with the crew since it's direct bolt on.

I'm not planning on doing the supercharger... if I did go FI I would probably give you a call, cause I would probably prefer a little turbo lag for wheel spin reasons... not a lot, but I already have to feather the shit out of the throttle through first and second.

Re: 4g!
Yeah I was going to say you could get some manifolds fabbed up and make your own turbo kit for that price and get tons more power. Unless they have everything for the SC including a warranty, install, tuning, FMIC and everything welded up then thats kinda a ripoff. Also your gains will be much less than a nice turbo kit that and you can interchange turbos and other components. It all depends upon what you want for long term goals really. Remember this is all just my opinion on the situation and I dont want you to be unhappy.
Keep in mind I know of two people one with a 3.0l Supercharged cougar and one friend with a RSX-type s with a Supercharger. None of which are from ripp mods (one is Jackson racing and the other is a modified vortech) and only one that was reliable from purchase. How many people have the SC kit so far on your gen eclipse and how much proof do they have of their products reliability (on your daily driven car) it might matter a great deal to you.

Re: 4g!
You should just get an awd platform. Evos are getting cheaper by the dozen.

Re: 4g!
I put in some HIDs last weekend... honestly i'm a little worried their not cutoff enough by the projector style headlights I have in. I might have made a bonehead move by putting them into the high beam housings because the high beams had a harness I could un screw to take out and the other one didn't.
Just an update!
I'm been slacking on the rest of the mods I had planned, and decided my money is better spent on getting moved out right now, so no real big mods planned for a while for me!

Re: 4g!
HID's in the high beam housings is a pretty bad idea. That'd be like driving with ultra uber bright high beams all the time. I would try to get them into the low beam housing.

Try? No, you MUST get them into the low beam housing. You hear people/us bitching about idiots with aftermarket HIDs that blind everyone, this is a prime example.

Re: 4g!
yep, after the first time turning them on on the road I never turned them on again. I'm going to mess with it tomorrow. As soon as I saw an overhead sign light up by my lights I realized how stupid of an idea it was.
