Re: accident
You're a fucking idiot and a danger to society (as you proved on the way to Tires Plus). I hope you aren't posting here expecting anyone to give you sympathy. You got what you deserved, unfortunately other people were given what they didn't deserve.

If? Since you've already proven you can't drive in the winter-I don't care if you want blame it on your tires or not, I'll give you the 17th of January until you really fuck up your car.
By the way Hughes, your comment: classic. Whenever I get up North I'll have to buy ya a beer.

Yea he's clearly a kid but jesus LAY OFF the kid. Christ, you guys are such assholes to people. Someone here ever not made a mistake driving? Fuck no we've all made mistakes. Saying what you said to him changes nothing. Let him learn on his own, or be polite about it. This is a "family" that we try to keep up here.

Re: accident
As his post proved, he learned nothing from this incident and it really bothers me thinking about how many other people will face damages before this kid is off the road. From what he said, he has no business driving on public roads. He is very irresponsible and is not willing to take responsibility for his actions. I will not "LAY OFF" anyone who comes on this board bragging about how other peoples' cars have been wrecked b/c of his own stupidity.

Boo fucking hoo!!
We are a bunch of assholes, don't like it, GTFO. We have all made mistakes, yes, but for me causing 2 accidents within 1 day, not one of them. Actually I haven't ever caused an accident. And I know better than to drive with bald ass tires on the highway. Take back roads with your hazards on, or get a ride from a friend. Figure something out, there was obviously a better way.

Re: accident
Well it looks like the winter crabbyness started early. Watch out n00bs the wolves are looking for food.
DSMStyle usually gets pretty mean around this time. I think this has happened every year since i had joined. Which has been something like 3-4 years.

Eh, winter crabbiness maybe.
Some guy admitting he was driving a car that was not roadworthy, in an area that we live in is generally not a good idea.
Nothing gets the "wolves" in a good mood like someone coming in and saying, "Guess what I did to risk your life today"

Re: accident
Ok All I did was tell a story about what happened. I complained to tires plus and got the price dropped 200 on the rediculous lug price. As for driving... You guys post videos of you drifting in parking lots... Why is it bad if I do some drifting in a huge abondoned empty parking lot... I had to drive to get to the place to put the tires on dumbass. I was cautious but not enough, had my caution lights on and was goign 10 mph. This is my first winter driving and I wasnt ready for it.. Anyway, Jakey.. Im not going to crash my car again... Ill bet you a case on that shit.
Also The other guy crashing is his fault... He was going way to fast with no control in a fwd. Me goign 20 on the shoulder with hazards on isnt the cause.

Re: accident
What exactly did you expect when you posted your story? I am suprised that it took so long for people to start giving you a hard time.
I see people like this every day at work. They will come in with cords sticking out of their tires or a ball joint that is ready to fall out or brakes that aren't even functioning and dont fix it because it is too expensive. If you cant afford it when it NEEDS to be done dont drive. It frustrates me because I know I have to share the roads with these people and it could be me that they are goig to get into an accident with.
I know you were on your way to buy new tires but the point is that it is Minnesota and every year about this time we do get snow. If your tires were really that bad you probably could have took the wheels in off the car to get new tires.

Drifting in an abandoned parking lot is a little different than sliding sideways into someones car because you have bald ass tires, therefore making your car unsafe to drive in the winter.

What the fuck are you doing going 10-20 mph on the highway. If your car isn't safe at highway speeds, don't use the fucking highway. Side streets with less traffic, going slower, what a fucking concept.
Anyway, I don't expect any of this to sink in, but maybe consider that in the future, telling stories about you being a dumbass and risking peoples lives might not be the best idea, the "wolves" and "assholes" that don't like getting rear-ended might get mad.

Re: accident
Good thing nobody in here races on the streets and highways. Good thing nobody here tells stories about their many kills on the highways over the weekends during the summer.

Re: accident
Theres quite a difference in driving in the summer vs. driving in the winter. You cant compare racing or doing pulls on the highway to driving like he did, and acknowledging the fact that he shouldnt be doing it.
Some people just dont have much common sense I guess....
Blue89Quest summed things up pretty well.
