Re: 4G63 Mirage?
I was really thinking about doing a motor in a awd mirage..keep it looking like a mirage..total sleeper. ugly, sorta. but, tastefully modded, they can look good.

Re: 4G63 Mirage?
speaking of which, what happened to that mirage with the volks that was pretty quick? I remember seeing vids of it racing a red supra or something.

1.) It is the 86 body...
2.) I didn't know that the mirage/colt were easy 4g63 swap shells.... i dont really pay attention to cars like that getting swaps.... sorry guys, lol

Yeah, cutting a hole in the firewall and switching everything over to RHD doesn't look difficult at all..
I kid. I'm amazed as a mofo at the amount of work/fabrication it took for you to do this conversion, I simply cannot believe that something like this came out of minnesota, then you go and drive it in the winter.. Why can I not believe something like this came from MN? I don't know, I just can't.
As soon as anybody even brings up a Mirage or an Evo 8, etc... I tell them all about the ugly duckling of a Mirage that turned into a Evo 3.

Just cuz your car has a body kit, doesn't necessarily make it a show car, unless it's got at least 5k into the body work and paint. IMO, most body kits are ugly as sin.

Re: 4G63 Mirage?
Just to add on to the Mirage swaps
http://www.lilevo.com/
Old 3G swap
Also can be done with the hatch, wasn't someone on here working on that?
Almost the way to go because of how light the cars are compaired to say a Galant VR-4
Plus the website
www.mirageforums.net
swap section, mostly people talking about it though and not enough people doing the swap, tkrperformance is an exception again...
people even have been swapping evo motors into the 5G mirages
