He is the owner of Taboo Speed Shop. I believe me612 is one of the countless who has been ripped of by Martin.

Ahh ok, I've heard about that. Why doesn't somebody just go "deal" with him?

Considering he's 30 miles away from me, don't know. I keep wanting to get a detailed list together between here and Toonerz of who he's ripped off and take a roadtrip down to Des Moines but I don't seem to get that far.

I wouldn't. A VERY large percentage of the members are in the Twin Cities metro area.

Re: DSM Talk

Ya that thief robbed me. Visit www.vendors-reviewed.com and you'll a good amount of people who have been ripped off by him. He still posts up on DSMTalk regularly. Someone sure does need to deal with him. I heard he broke his back which is how he originally got behind. I bet it hurt a lot, but I bet it'd hurt more if it broke again!!

Re: DSM Talk

I'll say one thing, if it were for dsmtalk, i wouldn't be where i'm at today. I've only been into DSM's since 2001 and this is my 2nd DSM. DSMtalk is just another good source of information. The Database is pretty big. I don't favor any one over the other. If i don't find it on talk, i'll look on tuners and vise versa. I like the local feeling of style and the quick response to my threads. I would never stop using one or the other regardless of who the site owner is. Since late last year i've hardly had to use talk or tuners because of style.

Re: DSM Talk

The only real difference that I have found with different DSM sites is the quality of the information they have and how much trust you can put in it. When I am searching for something that I am stumped on, I ask JET or Nash first and after that I go and search NABR. I don't even both going on Toonerz or Talk because you can't rely on that information in my book unless I see someone reputable posting info on them sites I won't even take it into consideration.

Re: DSM Talk

...yes and there is nothing like doing a search and getting 8+ variations to a project you're doing and wondering who the hell to trust. And then there is the people that post a help question and never reply back as to what solved their problems. I hate that! I usually like to close my help threads with resolutions.

Re: DSM Talk

i whore it up on there quite often.

i usually do not post too many problems up there, as the answers I get are not that great.

greenstreak and a few other mods are pretty knowledgeable.

as for taboo, he is no longer a mod and doesn't post on dsmtalk anymore.

my friend/mechanic was the AHP guy. And he just screwed up alot and ended up closing shop this past summer. I helped him move.

but guess what, he owes me money and parts still ;-D

Steeltwo- do you happen to have any contact information for Chris Andersen? I know him pretty well too. I believe it was Siren that he moved to. His cell phone# is dead.

Yeah he did mess up though. Bit off more than he could chew especially with the group buy of intercooler he hosted but thats his and his prior customers business.

I wasnt Kicked out, i left.... granted if i would have stayed, i would have definatly been in jail right now sleeping next to bubba. The funniest thing was that when i was in for 2 days, there was an inmate that was talking to me because i worked at The Sportsmans guide, and he wanted me to get him a deal on a Knife as a "present" for his dad. I gave him the wrong number for him to call me. LOL
but anyways at least i have a clean record by getting my liscense here. Im not able to drive in MN until November. LOL if you cant beat the system get out of the state and start again. LOL
Yeah DSMStyle pretty much rocks, lets give Aj Jana and the mods a big round of applause. *clap*
