Holy shit, someone else other than me has been to Cuzzy's! I've pretty much had everything there except a burger. Used to order the chicken alfredo all the time.

Re: Best burgers?
I can't believe no one has mentioned the Juicy Lucy at Matt's Bar on Cedar, it's legendary!
Matt's Bar is a neighborhood landmark, it's won "best burger" just about every year for as long as I can remember. You guys should check it out. But don't take my word for it, google it.
Here is a write up on Matt's Bar:
Dig into a legendary Juicy Lucy burger in a classic dive-bar setting.
Editorial Rating: Recommended
The Scene
From the outside, Matt's looks like no big deal--just another dark, old neighborhood corner bar sporting faded Grain Belt and Bud signs. It doesn't make much of an impression on the inside, either--a long, skinny bar with a row of plain booths and a jukebox featuring the standard mix of classics, rock hits and some local favorites. But for legions of locals, this is their bar. Sports teams, families and old friends wander in day after day for beers and burgers.
The Draw
How good is the Juicy Lucy? Ask the guy who drove his classic car from Detroit to Matt's, ordered one, then turned around and drove back home. Hundreds of people make regular trips down Cedar Avenue to order one of these thick, hand-made burgers stuffed with bubbling, salty cheese and nestled against a heap of hot fries so big it would make a meal on its own.

If I'm in the mood for a really good burger, I'll just fire up the grill and make one myself.

Re: Best burgers?
I just had one last weekend that was amazing. It is at the Border Bar in Taylors Falls. Homemade potato buns and about a 3/4 pound burger. It was huge and tasted awesome!

They have them there too, the story goes the Juicy Lucy traveled South on cedar and made a stop at the 5-8 club. The topic seems to come up once a year with friends/locals around here but most will assure you that Matt's Bar has the best burger.
BTW I go to 5-8 club more than Matt's as it is closer to me in Richfield.
I'm getting hungry

I didn't have a burger at that place we were at in Seattle but if Bruce says its the best he has ever had, well then that would get my vote.
Wendy JBC is one of my favorites for fast food though.

Re: Best burgers?
I would say gold nugget in Glen Lake has a pretty damn good burger, but the onion rings really make the deal.
JBC's are the best burger for $.99 in the world.
5-8 club by the airport has really good juicy lucys.
Snuffy's burgers are good, and the malts are very good too.
And fuddruckers has really good burgers that come in appropriate sizes so you don't have to order more than 2.

Goby Burger from Goby's... Now that is one tasty burger.
Ruddfuckers is good.
Nook is pretty dominant. I eat the Chris Burke, I think. Pepper Jack cheese and fried onions. Yum.

Just had a burger from The Round-Up tonight and really liked it. Huge and cheap with excellent fries.

Re: Best burgers?
A bar called Tugs on St. Anthony Main, in Minneapolis has good burgers. The burgers I make are my most favorite. If I feel like slumming it, I go to Mcdonalds and get a Big Mac.
