Tranny noise?

My clutch is like 8 months old. If I drive for a little while and park I can hear noise, but only when the clutch is disengaged. If I press the pedal in, the noise goes away until I let it go. When I'm driving on the highway I can hear some other noises when I let off the gas while still in gear. I've had this whining noise, but thats probably from the drive shaft (???). Also when I let off the clutch slowly in like 3rd gear I can hear something spinning against metal. It starts to rub when the clutch is near engagement....if you understand what I'm saying. I'm not the best at describing things as you can see. This Rick Shindley guy...how much does he charge? I've heard of him, but I've never met the guy. How long does it normally take to rebuild the tranny? I dont know what parts need to be replaced either. I'm planning on getting it done before summer starts. I'm still thinking about doing it myself...since I'll probably end up rebuilding the tranny a few more times after this. We'll see what happens...I'll look around the net and see how hard it is.
