Only pic I have of a broken part/engine. This was my 2nd dsm, non turbo...isn't a broken part, but a broken engine. Rings took a dump on me, gave me a reason to part the car out and get the turbo 1g dsm I own today

I just deleted the broken ring, bearings (T25 and rod) and other misc shit that was found in the bottom of Ghettostyles old crankwalked 7 bolt. There was quite a pile of shit in there.

In my car, I am not willing to lift the motor off the ground again but it has bad bearings and 160-155 compression (fuck!). In my old 90 laser motor one worn ring (160-160-70-160). Talon shattered a clutch disk, ripped through a second synchro, and the newer "good" tranny I threw in it grinds 4th gear.

As far as tools, I have gone through 2-1/2 drive ratchets, broken 1 soccet, and stripped one extension off. Someone threw a shitty on with the good tools. That was last year.

I don't have a picture of my car but....

It's on it's 3rd Tranny, 4th Clutch, and it's been in 2 accidents.

hehe I've been through about 7 or 8 tranny's in 2years of owning my laser. I'll get the picture of the tranny case that was taken out when the diff pin went through the case on new years eve last year(starting of 2004).

#1 and 2 would be replacing chassis bushings with Poly ones. PITA

#3 would be cutting a shock off at the bottom because it wouldnt come off on the car, rusted nicely.

LOL, I love these threads. Viscious, thats the first I have seen that pic. Awesome (sorry dude), but you should have done it to the rest of the cylinders and sold it as a swirl ported head!!

Here are a couple from the same day.

End of my halfshaft coming through the inside bellhousing.

What the insides on my new tranny looked like ~500 miles.

Oil pan on the first motor I rebuilt (rings, brearings) after same 500 miles

P.S. I also ruined the head. Only thing to survive was the turbo.

im gonna have to dig up the pics sometime soon but...

first awd tranny.. the tapered roller bearing on the countershaft grenaded and recked 1 layer of the case, 1 gear on the countershaft, and 2 gears on the input shaft (3rd/4th)

second awd tranny (i was borrowing this one while i rebuilt mine), mushed up a center diff on a bad 2 step launch with dsm link

fun stuff! lol
