Don't get too wound up. They have signed land agreements before, getting it approved by the public is the hard part. Most people don't want a drag strip in their back yard.

I agree. I want a new drag strip as much as the next guy, but I've been hearing these "good news" posts for the last five years. When I see some concrete being layed, then I'll get excited.

It'll never happen. MN is too liberal to allow such a thing so close to the Cities. We used to have it in Brooklyn Park....

Yup...not too far from where Fleet Farm now stands. I believe it was called Northstar Dragway or something to that effect.
