Your ECU was probably pulling the timing to stop the knock

Mine would pretty much just jump right to 21psi at launch. Thats with antilag activated. The NLTS I can kinda watch the tach between shifts and pull around 15+ psi on slow shifts. Kinda similar to a rolling launch if you shift slow enough.

So far, my car has run the best with just the dsmlink lauch set at 5500rpm and the anti lag feature turned off. I would always pull too much knock to get the anti lag setup to actually be benificial off the line.

The anti-lag feature drops out once the car starts moving, same as the stutter-box, so you should get your timing back, unless you are knocking. If I remember correctly you can set what mph for it to release at, but I can't say for sure since my car is not together yet. If anybody else knows, chime in.

wtf

It sounds like everyone is talking like antilag and a 2 step are the same thing, there not. So a 2 step is a second lower revlimit used at lauch(for rpm and boost) and between shifts for a nlts. Antilag is used to spool a turbo up from a low rpm in a gear, not for lauching. Rally cars use this and get full boost just off idle rpm, so rally, auto cross, roadrace cars would use this. I have a 2 step set up in the aem, I was going to try antilag just see the diff in trq#s/spool up.

Anti-lag is used to get a big turbo spooled prior to launching so there is no lag on take-off and to keep that big turbo spooled between shifts.

A 2-step is just as you said. 1 rpm setting for launching and 1 rpm setting for NLTS.
