I would do the 61mm wheel over the 60-1. SlowWhite(2.0) and Speedfreak(2.4) run the 61mm with the GT35 exhaust wheel/non-bb GT center section and seem to like it. They both run the bigger s-cover though. The difference between the e-cover and s-cover should be minimal though. We sold a 61mm with the GT35 exhaust and e-cover to a local Honda guy with a B18 VTEC motor and he makes over 500whp with it. I don't think it spooled much worse than his old generic T3/T4.

What would be the advantage of the S cover over the E cover?

What is the transient boost response like on the 2.0L with the 61mm/GT35 combo?

SlowWhite and Speedfreak- How do you like this Turbo?

Ecoli- Could you pm me a price for the 61mm/GT35 combo?

Thanks guys for the responses!

I know you would like to stay away from the GT series because of price, but they are great for spooling larger wheels quicker and the GT series turbine wheels are really efficient.

I think the main difference for the S housing over the E housing is that the S flows a little more and is what the Garrett wheels are measured/rated for. Secondly you have the anti-surge ports on the S housing.
