How about Elite vs QPR vs SLS vs SGH? Steve can run Jana's auto on his team.
No team here, just me and the old blue POS. Count me in.

Why don't we just do another DSMSTYLE FUNDING thing like "Ban a Member"

Where everyone Puts in $5 if they think they'll run the fastest 1/4 mile next year?

At the end of the year winner takes the POT! (and each year it starts over previous year ET's don't count)

Fuck Rock Falls, that place sucks ass. Let's have it down in Iowa, you can actually get more than three runs there.

A lot of smack talkers and bench racers here, seems kind of early in the year for this already. I don't think it really matters which engine you have in your car, if it's a DSM, it should be allowed. Nobody here is going to come anywhere near what Brent runs so talking about that is a total waste of time.

I'd be up for putting up some cash, but I'm not putting money anywhere now for a race next summer.

Hense why I only said $5 vs $500

$5 bucks is nothing - I'm sure most of you loose that in pocker each weekend. :stick:

It is just a plan right now. There is a lot of barriers between a plan and reality. Usually $$$ is the biggest one, at least for me!

is this about the shop challenge thing anymore or just everyone putting in money?
Just a everybody vs everybody, DSM type thing.

This does not have to be a one day event, like I said previously, we could compare timeslips over a period of time(maybe a month or so?).So no need to plan and have everyone there and running on the same day.Money wise, it has to be at least a few hundo per person, so the winner takes a nice payout.

I won't make any specific predictions, I respect Rau and the crazy power he puts down with his setup. Aside from that I will say it is sad that people think they have all the limits in front of them. You are your only limit. If you think it's money, make more, do whatever it takes to reach your goals and in that respect you should be aiming pretty high. If I believed in the limits people gave me, I would have been dead about 20 years ago.

On that note, everyone is welcome to bring it. When you think you can't be beat, someone will come along and prove you wrong.

You really think he is going to be running low 7s or high 6s like Brent will be next year? Unless he is buying one of Bullish's Solaras I don't see that happening. Mike might run 8s, but there is a huge difference between 8.9s and 7.3s.

Things get so busy in late spring/summer that it's hard to work on our own cars and get everyone together.

BTW, you need to fix you avatar, so that smoke is only coming off the rear tires.

Yup, early in the year only. Or it'll probably be a no go.

Are we talking about the shop vs shop, or the 1g vs 2g thing?

This thread is shop vs shop, the other is the 1G 2G thing. It doesn't seem to matter what time of year, we are always busy, just have to start working more after hours on our stuff and weekends.
