I saw that you wanted Corbeaus in your other thread. I sold my stock seats for a ridiculous $800 and bought my A4s for $1,050 brand spankin' new. Just sayin'....

Re: JohnnyT's C5 Z06 Build Thread
I take it you got the correct versions in the end?
I think they look awesome, I love side skirts on vettes and it matches your front lip perfectly imho.

Re: JohnnyT's C5 Z06 Build Thread
Yeah I got the correct ones on Friday and had them painted that night. Picked them up on Saturday morning and threw 'em on.
I REALLY like the new scheme. I was afraid the wheels wouldn't work well but I couldn't have been more wrong.
Now I just have to be even more cautious of driveways and slopes haha.

Re: JohnnyT's C5 Z06 Build Thread
You need something on the rear now! I really like the front lip, side skirts are decent, but it doesn't flow to the back. Still much better than stock though!

Yeah I agree with you. The rear needs something, but unfortunately there's not a nice bolt on rear bumper or diffuser available to help compliment everything.
I'm hoping painting the lower rear fascia black will help but there's not much I can do outside of that. It's a start though...

Yeah I wish the front lip didn't have the outer sections bow out but there's really not much you can do with the shape of the nose as it is. It does look more subtle in person but hey I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. Just a little something different and not your plain jane C5, and overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.
As for the rear, I'll shoot the lower rear fascia black and see how it goes with everything. I actually did it awhile ago but peeled it off, so maybe this will give you guys an idea:

Thanks! Yeah they actually don't look too bad on the monitor here. Wish I had some sort of photog skills but I'll get a decent shoot done later this year.

I love the C5 design. It's my favorite gen but I didn't like that the front nose was noticeably higher compared to the sides and rear. So I decided the lip was a good compromise to set everything level, but the side skirts were needed to help enhance the look I was after. Of course, now the rear sits a bit higher..it's a never ending battle haha. I still don't love that the sides bow outward on the front lip, but it is what it is.

As long as the weather isn't too bad, I'll be at C&C and B4B on Saturday.
