KBB is meant for newer stock cars, it's a very general pricing guide for general cars. Modded cars can be worth more or less than a stocker, and it's tough to know exactly what someone would pay for it. I find that on here, most people think their car is worth WAY more than it actually is, myself included. Once I realized what people were willing to actually pay for my car, I realized I'd rather park it and let it collect dust than sell it for $4000.
The best pricing guide for a modded car is to see what similar cars have actually sold for, not what they are listed at. Ebay completed auctions is a great resource for this.
