I have $5000 in aftermarket insurance through Progressive as well. I am thinking of switching to a collector car insurance policy and they said I could find my own appraiser. Thought maybe someone knew of one that didn't cost $200 bucks.
I did get in contact with a guy by the name of Ron Blake that said he can do it legally. I will post his info up if he is worth it.
