Search for it on Tooners, there was a couple of really good threads on there from a few years ago. The only good places for mufflers on a 1G are the cat area and the rear. You could always throw another glasspack on after the cat since they don't take up any room. Kind of like the factory resonators on most cars these days.

That would be a last resort, as my brain can't wrap itself around choking the setup.
