Getting carried away,
Building the motor
More fuel
Little big turbo
New down pipe and waste gate setup
Rebuild t-case
Weld center diff
Maybe a bigger intercooler
Different wide band
Stall converter
Get rid of the AGX's and Tiens Blah!
Re Upholster the head liner
Tires

EF3 isn't little. Sounds like you will be the one to beat at stock appearing class.

-build lightweight fmic bracket (stock one is huge and steel)
-aluminum driveshaft
crazier ideas:
-swap in a BB EF4, if/when they make one...(goal: run more boost reliably)
-swap out rear diff AYC system for an evo8 rear-end. This is theoretically worth almost 120 pounds of weight loss...still investigating this.
-I keep seeing these epic tubular T3 turbo setups....but my wallet does not agree. Maybe lotto?

God you sound like you have the same ideas as me. But I won't be doing any of them any time soon lol
In spring just before snow melts I need to fix my serp belt and possibly swap out back to stock acc pulley's.
Then I need to roll one rear fender and put my eibach springs in.
I also need to put my rear diff bushing kit in, my driveshaft carrier bushing kit in, gate selector bushing in and underhood shifter bushing kit in.
I am going to buy an oil pressure gauge to and throw that in somewhere this winter as well.
Then I need to do a fluid swap. I am almost at 30k and I think some of my fluids might be stock, rear diff comes to mind.
In the spring I will retune for 30psi area and hope to crack 600whp at MAP.
Sooooo many things I want to do but I am tapped for money. /Pray for big tax return and big bonus I guess.

Nice! Dude I did all this the first few weeks I owned my X and I haven't touched anything else(other than to double-check torque on the diff bolts after a few miles of driving). No short shifters or anything, I'm SUPER happy with the setup!

I'd like to sell mine...
If not I'll have to decide if I should get a shift box, put in my 1150's for corn and maybe try shooting nitrous at it.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
Store my VR-4 for winter, get some small bugs worked out, and as soon as spring hits the corner put it on the rollers.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
For anyone interested; the plan is to strip my '95 TSi AWD Auto. back down. This time the engine will be coming out as well. With that I will be painting the engine bay, deleting a few things along with tucking the harness. I just want to make everything really clean!
But until all of this begins, I am just going to be collecting parts and working on my POS 1g.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
Debating if we are going to pull the trigger on trying to sell this place/buy a bigger one.
If that doesn't happen, stealth will get a bunch of pipes such as exhaust, intercooler, if budget allows standalone +E85 + all the boost the 9b's can push out.
If we decide to pull the trigger on a new to us house, then the stealth gets nothing.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
Put in my other race axle and maybe get an ignition setup so I can run the boost I want.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
I'll play.
- 12-plate rear diff
- Hawk HPS brake pads all around
- Blox motor mount
- Brake Master Cylinder Brace
- RS Trunk Bar
- Catch can
- Some interior touchups
- More aggressive alignment (technically will come in Spring)
- Maybe a mini battery kit if I can source one cheap enough

Nice! I don't mind helping sometime in my garage if you want, those are pretty easy installs.

Just rearranging the stocker or are you doing something else? You will LOVE the motor mount, shifting so much improved!

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
^^^ I'm going with the Weir Performance MaxGrip LSD Kit which has 12 plates instead of the stock 8 plates. Here: http://www.weirperformance.com/maxgriplsdkits.html
They've also indicated they're working on a machined pressure ring to convert to a 1.5 way LSD instead of the stock 1 way. So I'm going to get in touch with them to see about the timing of that (and hope it'll be ready by Spring), then do it all at once.

Re: Winter plans/mods 2011
I'm ripping the DTHSTAR (the ratty Starion with the roof rack) apart for good, and hopefully get my 88 out here from Ohio, and start the mods on it (including the motor from the DTHSTAR)
