High Speed AutoX. Start from a stand still, 1 full lap.

Street Tire winner: Eric Winsor, Corvette on Michelin PS2 tires.
I had a blast on the road course. Really happy the car stayed together and I managed to keep it on the pavement all day. I placed 15th overall which I'm pretty happy about for my first time.
My temps were getting pretty high by the end of the day. In the morning I was seeing 255* oil temps but as I got more comfortable pushing the car harder I was seeing consistent high 280s by the end of the day. Never puked any coolant though, that peaked at around 220* iirc.
Brandon/Toothy tore that shit up out there. Imagine what he could do with some slicks and power!!
Thanks Shane! I had a great time and more power and slicks are exactly I was thinking after the day was done. Haha. I'd love to get into some time attack stuff eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Perhaps a winter build project!
I was bummed to see your car done so early...
I believe I have a sweet pic of you wearing some pimp glasses while tending in the big green machine. Haha. Now where is that...
Thank you sir! After failing to get off the line decently all day on Saturday, I was as shocked as you were at how well everything came together on Sunday. As it turns out, I guess that if I try hard enough, I CAN drive at the track.

Hahaha. I did do one run "just to see how it is" and it was hilarious. Worse than the street, I kept letting off and hitting the brakes. 14.8 at 98 mph or something because I was laughing the whole way.
Thanks brandon for reminding me the best quote of the night on saturday.
"I don't know who I want in the car more. Jazz or Scheides." a little while later... "Ha! Jazzerscheides!"
That quote made my weekend!
Road course was great time for me and the x, I corded my dirrezas on the in the second session and borrowed a set of tires for the last 2 sessions from Ron @ RS. Since the tires were not mine I opted not to do the timed event. Kinda wished I did, but there is always next year.

You should get into drifting, you remind me of that guy from Tokyo drift.
I have 8+ hours of footage from the weekend. Compilation video coming soon.
If any mitsu-style members want some video of themselves, let me know what car you were rolling in and what event you were at and I can see what I got.
PS- I was amazed Tachyon's DSM ran like 20+ low 12's high 11's at the drag strip + the auto-x and still drove home!(I assume)
