I get guys coming in to work asking why their clutch is slipping with 8K miles on it. First thing I ask is what kind of oil they're running. 9 times out of 10 it's synthetic car oil. Then when I tell them car oil is no bueno on a wet clutch they look at me like I'm the idiot. Most guys listen and switch back to a bike specific oil, but there are a few that I just end up telling them to come back and see me when they burn their discs up.
