Badass numbers dude! So easy to forget the stock turbo on the X is smaller than the 8/9 but these numbers are fantastic! Super vague ricer math puts you somewhere around 315whp/330wtq at DB I think? Numbers to rival gheyrod (the 9) to be sure!
You're totally right about the injector/pump thing. As I have learned from Shane, you can push a fuel pump further with bigger injectors, which is basically what I did on my car. ~380whp is the limit w/ 800's and it looks like its around 320whp w/ stock 600cc injectors. It's all about having more resolution with which to store up fuel and spit it out at the particular cylinder. Bigger injectors can dump larger amounts of fuel in shorter bursts, allowing the fuel pump to be pushed further. At this point (for both of us) an upgraded fuel pump and keeping the existing injectors is the perfect plan--won't have to mess with injector scaling/latancies and you'll just have plenty of fueling headroom on top. Plus, if you upgrade turbo or switch to e85 later, you're set with just an injector upgrade.
Go gheyrodX go!
