Free stuff for Vets on Thursday
"Veteran’s Day is soon approaching and there are several companies who want to thank our veterans by providing them with discounts or a free meal. To those companies offering veterans a free meal or discount, we give a collective thanks."
http://themilitarywallet.com/veteran...and-discounts/
A lot more businesses are doing stuff for us vets this year. Pretty sweet!

Re: Free stuff for Vets on Thursday
Heck ya! I went and got free dinner downtown at McCormick and Shmits (spelling?). Sundays before Vet's day they usually offer a free meal to vets. I had Jambalaya

Great site, thanks for finding that.

I'd be all over the Texas Roadhouse free meal, but it ends at 4pm. Huh? That sucks. Plus I'd have to find my DD214, I haven't needed it for 21 years.

Have some respect for those who fought for your right to disrespect them like that.

Shut up matt, geez. I have had family that has seen wars as well. My grand fathers were both in WW2, and my uncle was in the gulf. Get over yourself.

Yeah, you guys need to just let off tom. It was a joke. I'm sure noone on this site is actually offended by it besides you two.

Get over yourself. You think it's funny to make wise cracks about everything. It's fucking old. You are not funny, don't ever think otherwise.

There's a time and place for jokes, especially jokes that are funny, but making fun of the hard work and sacrifices this nation's veterans have put up with isn't something that should ever be joked about. Tom's jokes are about as inappropriate as they come.

When did i make fun of the hard work and sacrifices. Im actually not surprized that you dont laugh at my jokes, your so much anti fun/light hearted humor that you think everything is SERIOUS BUSINESS. Im not going to go any more off topic in this thread, but believe me matt, its not me with the problem.

I am a vet, and I approve of Tom's joke.

No, it's about having tact, which you have none.
Febo, don't encourage him. You're at least funny.
