I had mine apart for like the 10th time today. The connector for the front o2 is buried behind the console toward the firewall. Didn't solve my issue. meh.

LOL will it make you mad if I told you I figured out how to get at that plug w/o pulling the console apart?

Not at all. The hard way is the normal way for me. I could feel the plug and maybe if I yanked it off the bracket it attaches to I might have gotten to it. I'm not inclined to yank on important wiring that I can't see. lol.
