^ also you added new thermal paste (Arctic 5 from radio shack) really easy fix just grab some shitty paste from best buy. I would buy the new xbox if I didn't already have one.

Can't believe they still have the garbage disc tray on it instead of a slot loading design like the PS3 and Wii.

This is kinda my concern. At the same time, I've had my original Gen1 xbox forever and no red ring (knock on wood). I just like the idea of the new featers like being uber quiet and kinect ready, there's some wii games that I've almost bought a wii for, and now hopefully they'll get ported.

Truf, but with 250Gb, you can just copy all of your disks to your hdd anyways.

Amazon has the new ones in stock:

Hell, I've been doing that with my 100GB just fine. I am starting to get low on space though, with all the DLC on there as well.

Wireless. For non-hardcore gamers like me the PS3 was and still is the easy choice.

500gb PS3 > 250gb 360

I'd rather fill up my hard drive with videos, music, DLC, than the disc data.

Notice how the new 360 drive is removable...put a 1 terabyte drive in there if you really want.

So it's finally how the PS3 has been since launch? Just looked it up and there is a 1tb drive with the correct size you can throw in a ps3 also.

I wonder if microsoft will require hard drives bought through them like previous 360's still?

Regardless the features the PS3 had before the 360, the 360 was always the more fun console to play on.

It's the controller...the 360 one owns the PS3 one. 360 is the gamers console...ps3 is the person who very rarely games console but loves bluray and loads of features they won't use.

That's pretty much me right there. I rarely game, but I watch Blurays and use the Netflix instant streaming quite often. I bet it's been 4+ months since I've even touched a controller (I use a Harmony remote for movies/Netflix).

Re: New Xbox 360 - built in wifi & 250GB Hdd

I used to own a Wii too, because I am a pretty big gamer, sold it though, then bought it again, then sold it again, lol. Three systems is too much, i barely play one now.

I would, PS3 has a lot of cool stuff, but pure gaming i still will always go xbox.

I'll be keeping my MW2 Elite 250gb. Don't really see the need to upgrade at this time.

I never understood the Controller arguement. I have always liked the PS Controllers (hasnt really changed through ps1, 2 or 3). The 360 controllers are too large and bulky.

PS3 just came out with 3d games yesterday. Seems to be the next big thing. They said killzone 3 will be 3D and also use the playstation move with it.

I agree, the PS controllers always felt more natural.
