What does knowing anything about the game have to do with what you see with your own eyes? Leber never touched the guy with anything more than incidental contact on a pass that wasn't catchable to begin with, the ball never crossed the 1st down line and touched the ground on the pass. Cut and dry.
This. It's not like we are bitching for no reason.

Being so against the vikings, that you side with a clearly wrong refs call, is pretty lame..
I've never been a Vikings fan and I side with what I saw. I felt the calls, although definitely tough, were correct. Until the balls are equipped with some sort of sensor going by sight is the best that can be done; 100 people can watch the exact same thing and you'll get 100 different accounts of what "really" happened.
Every non-Vikings fan I have talked to admitted the Vikings got fucked as far as the calls went, anybody with eyes and 1/2 a brain could see those two calls won the Saints the game. However the way I see it the Vikings should have never been in that situation, they gave the game to the Saints with all the turnovers they had. Like I said earlier, take those away it would have been 52-28 Vikings. Coulda shoulda woulda, it's over now, they lost. I just don't like when games are decided that way, no matter who the teams are, there were a couple calls during the game that benefited the Vikings that I thought were bullshit as well. Those refs were horrible plain and simple, and the butt fucks that were up in the replay booth were no better.
I hope that the league management will review the game (im sure they already did) and make some comments about it. The rules are simple when it comes to both of those plays, when pass interference is called the pass has to be catch-able, even Shaq O'Neal couldn't have came close to catching that. If the ball touches the ground (unless there is complete control with two hands under the ball) at any point it should be ruled incomplete.
Final thoughts; Childress is an idiot, I don't feel like typing why, it would take too long.
Strange, I don't hear anyone bitching about those in this thread!
If it would have determined the outcome of the game I would be the first to say the Saints got fucked, im a total realist, but in this case it wasn't that way.
All the Vikings haters, keep talking like we don't know what we're talking about, we're experienced when it comes to having the officials screw us over.

If they were calls that decided the game, I am sure most of the people in this thread would have said the vikings got lucky but they were happy with the outcome. The calls at the end of the game helped decide the outcome which is what people are mad about.

Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
Bad calls generally even themselves out with unbiased officials, thats simple statistics.
That is over a period of time or a big enough sample. One game likely wouldn't be enough of a sample to give any sort of confidence.... Looking at calls for/against the home team over multiple games might be something to consider but it is correct to assume it would be equal for every game? If I roll 2 dice, is it guaranteed I will get snake eyes 1/36 of the time?
