Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
How does the ride compare to Janelle's Prokits?

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
^^A little tiny bit bouncier I think. I'll have to get some STi shocks, and finish the combo here for a real nice ride. It seems right now though that its a smoother ride than it was before, not really a bad thing I guess, considering 6 months from now I'll be hauling my baby around iun the back seat.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
If you're looking for a more reversible option to tail light tainting, you should look into these.

How well can you see the brakes in the daylight I think Peter was asking about. Looks good though.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
Been a while since I've done anything to this pile, lol.
This last week or so I have picked up a few things for it though.
- ERZ Downpipe
- Ebay Up-pipe
- This carbon fiber exhaust sheild that Jannelle needs:
- And this Saweeet deal on this Seibon CF grille for $100 ( retails for over $200)
I'll update as I get some of this crap installed.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
Hows the car feel with that up/downpipe combo? Are you planning on getting it tuned?

Haven't gotten any of it on yet, still waiting on shipping
Only thing to show up so far is the downpipe
Still waiting on a whole slew of stuff to show up that I ordered last week:
-Uppipe
-Tein badge for grille
-CF exhaust thing
-Domo doll
And yes I will be getting it tuned by Nate (Bullwinkle)from MNSubaru again, he is one of the few non-douche members over there and know shis shit.

Cause I'm a ricer and have Tein springs...
Seriously though, it should look pretty nice, if not then it'll come off, it was only 8 bucks so I figured what the hell.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
Got my uppipe and downpipe this weekend, also installed my little carbon fiber exhaust sheild.
Up-pipe:
Downpipe:
Also had to re-adjust my front bumper a bit because it just didn't seem to fit right for some reason. We took the bumper off Saturday night and discovered a little damage, and this car was obviously in some sort of wreck in the past, here are some pics. Nothing too major, but it explained the bumper not fitting quite right.
Like I said nothing too major, now it looks much better than it did before and will also allow this new grill to look even nicer.
This also showed up on Friday, took about 10 minutes to install and I think it looks pretty nice and will actually be funtional once my new exhaust parts get installed.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
I would sand a spray those welds, had the same deal on one of my cars, and the weld rusted out and broke. Rustoleum and a new weld fixed the issue.

Re: New daily driver: 2004 WRX
Does anyone make one of those exhaust heatshields w/o all the pre-drilled screw holes?

No idea, I guess to me it didn't really matter having the rivets there cause my car is already silver and it matched good
