Rockfalls Raceway - May 30th or 31st?
http://www.rockfallsraceway.com/imports.shtml
Well I had too much fun today.
I'll be hitting up the next SC day on 5/31 as long as the car is up for some more abuse.
Figured I'd put this up nice and early so people can plan ahead.
Hope to see another nice big showing again!

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
lol, in your defense, atleast you car was there, and made a pass brandon. 3rd gear was there, not in your backseat Then again, who am I to talk?

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
Whatever I can do to help.
Tools, oil, coolant, funnels for the above plus for fuel.
Extra fuel for you High Power HP cats.
I probably bring enough tools to do anything, but then again is probably why I can barely lift it.
Good day today, Everyone came home the same way they left.

It was fun. Nice seeing you guys out there. I blew my heater core hose so I called it a day. Best I managed was a 12.3 @ 116.

Not quite.. My oil filter gasket decided to push out and somehow the bolt backed out holding the cooler to the housing. It dumped out all my oil everywhere on the highway and I had to get towed.. I am no longer a dsm virgin haha. Hopefully my engine will be alright!
Brandon you should pick a bracket racing day. Pretty sure they're the same price but it's not a damn civic fest. Also they like to prep the track more for the muscle cars. Not to mention all those civic's eating up the track with their street tires.

Hopefully you turned it off in time. Good luck getting it all cleaned up too.

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
Yeah the oil pressure light flickered on and I looked at my oil pressure gauge right away. Right when I looked at it, it was approaching zero. So we'll see once I get a new housing and filter on it. By the way thanks again for going out of the way to stop by!

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
No problem. Like I said, I've been on the side of the highway before. It sucks and all it takes is one idiot to side-swipe you.

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
Well I just picked this because it was the next SC day. And really today, IMO the lines weren't too bad. As long as someone didn't puke on the track, the lines kept moving pretty good I thought. I thought it was the perfect amount of time to let the car cool down too. Usually maybe 30 minutes between passes if there weren't huge delays.
But if a majority of the people would prefer a different day, like that Saturday the 30th instead, speak up. I just am trying to get SOMETHING setup, and that's the one I thought would be good. But if majority prefers the 30th, then hell lets do the 30th instead.
Maybe one of the mods can edit this thread, and make it a poll with one option being the Fun Day on the 30th, and the other option being the Sport Compact day on the 31st.

Re: May 31st, Rock Falls Raceway
I was just saying cause the track will be prep'd better and not all chewed up. When I went on a bracket racing day last there was like NOBODY there. So after your run you could let it cool off and once it was ready just go up and run. No waiting in line.
