Well an evo is still a must have in my book for someday but I am way too hooked on my car to start putting my money into another car right now....
As soon as I get the money wich should be anytime now I'm going to be putting that engine in and pulling the 7 bolt!! But when I do it Im going to do it right the first time and get the lower end built atleast. At the same time I'm planning on going to a bigger turbo then after that all I will have to worry about is the same as you "TRANNY, TRANSFERCASE"

Ya I really hope I can at least make a couple passes at the track in the spring. I know this setup in the fall with ron driving ran a 11.4@124 with a 2.1 60 foot. That pass, the throwout bearing came apart. This was on pump gas too, I want to run my full blown dual pumper with e-85, but that still all depends on my driving and if my tranny and tcase can hold the power.

Ron at RS is going to be tuning it. He already made 527 on this setup on pump at 28psi with the magnus cast intake manifold. Im gonna run the stock intake manifold for now. But in the spring im gonna be running e85 with the dual pumper. So I guess I will see what the stock ignition can do and then upgrade once thats maxed.

That thing should move!
Ever think about getting your full blown setup anodized? I wouldn't be too worried but if you plan on running e85 for a while it'd be something to think about.

Re: My new setup for spring.
Nice. And you know you can use the oil cooler, you just need to flush it out really well.

Re: My new setup for spring.
I also am inclined to believe that the oil cooler lines are fed after the filter, but I could definately be wrong on that. Can someone help out here?

Re: My new setup for spring.
Oil cooler is after the filter, but the filter has a bypass on it for when the oil is thick, like cold starts, or when the filter gets clogged.
I would not re-use the cooler. Have you ever cleaned an oil pan with bearing material in it? Even when you can touch it, it can be though to get everything out. If you think you going to get everything out by "flushing it out real good" dream on. Once 10 GPM of oil is pumping through that thing, any little spec you didn't get will work it's way out and into your motor.
