Re: I need some help with AEM

ok, so I tried leaning it out at idle, but it didn't want to rev cleanly, it would hiccup and appeard to be going very lean. I richened it up again and it revved clean, but I'm sure it could be leaner. I messed with the accell dTPS table a bit, raised the line up a bunch, and that seemed to help. Are most of the throttle tip-in adjustments done in the main fuel window or auxiliary windows like the dTPS or others?

The main fuel maps are used for "base" fuel only. All the modifiers (accel, decel fuel, coolant correction, off idle performance, idle fuel, air temp enrichment) are done in their own respective tables. I've seen many people that try to use "unused" portions of the map for accel fuel. Then they wonder why the car runs like shit in different gears and under different load conditions (like large hills that they normally don't encounter). The AEM manual has a decent explanation of what each table does and how to start tweaking them.
