Basically it looks like they call this style the Endura finish. It refers to them as the same fittings, just a different finish. And they mention they are designed to match up with all russell hose ends. That's about all I know about it. I personally planned on using it to screw into the OEM fuel filter on one end, and a black anodized hose end to screw on the other end. So I guess I was really going to test it's compatibility  |
OK, just got off the phone with Edelbrock/Russell. The guy wasn't the most informed.. but he said he/they wouldn't suggest mating those two finishes, specially because it will all be submerged in the tank/fuel. So I guess I'll have to pass, but thank you very much for offering Brandon.
If anyone else has anything, let me know. Otherwise I just have to wait for the 11/07/08 back order part to come into stock.
Edit: Also just called MAS.. no dice, TNT.. was on hold for 5 minutes = no dice, and S&S.. no dice.
