I would argue that DSM's are rather popular. Also, for being "special" think about a Corvette vs Camaro. Most people are restoring Camaros and not Vette's because that's the car they use to have since they probably couldn't afford a vette when they were young. The 4G63 is the new version of the small block chevy (SBC) 350. Crazy power potential, stong, and best of all, a currently common block. But as I stated earlier, for me it depends more on the success of the EVO, since the 8's and 9's kick the shit out of DSM in all areas IMO.

My view may be off by the fact that I come from a Camaro family, but my father is also a goodmark/dynaocorn/sherman body parts dealer, so I have a gerernal idea of what is in demand right now.
