I think you are thinking of the automatic 23 spline transfer case, if I am correct? I have 2 22 spline awd transfer cases if you need one, $25 each

The gearing in the rear end os different too, so he'll need to replace that as well. And by the way, welcome!

If you want to swap to a manual to be different, you'll end up looking like every other DSM out there. Stick with the auto and see what you can make of it.
