Stock head bolts are stretch-to-yield, meaning when they are torqued once they stretch. That 76ft/lbs you put on them this last time more than likely was far less than that.

Get ARP head studs, use a new head gasket, torque to 95ft/lbs. Do it right for once and quit disassembling your car to fix problems that should not have occurred in the first place!!
