Stock head bolts are stretch-to-yield, meaning when they are torqued once they stretch. That 76ft/lbs you put on them this last time more than likely was far less than that.

The act of torquing down stretch-to-yield fasteners goes like this. First, the underside of the fastener head is lubricated, and the bolt is torqued to the minimal level; then using a torque angle socket a specific amount of additional twist is applied to the bolt. Often, the twist is added in two steps, like on the cylinder head bolts.

Get ARP head studs, use a new head gasket, torque to 95ft/lbs. Do it right for once and quit disassembling your car to fix problems that should not have occurred in the first place!!
