How much would it be for the hatch in my talon, i just need the old stuff removed and the new stuff put on that window only. I think i would do 10%

Just a rough guess but I bet they could remove the old hatch tint and replace it for about $100.

Yeah that 3M Black Chrome stuff I got is awesome but it is a lot more expensive generally than the normal stuff; and yes it is way darker than the normal 35%. I got pulled over for mine already and the 35% stuff that I have read at 17% on his reader. He didn't give me a ticket but I am contimplating taking it off my side windows for sure. The thing is I really don't care a lot about how it looks, its so nice in the summer with the black car and black leather seats, it really cools the car down a lot. That tint law is bullshit.

How is it bullshit? It's more of a safety thing for law enforcement. Police offiicers sure like to know if someone is moving around in their car when stopped, or how many occupants are inside... cause ya know, who cares if someone pulls a gun out.

Come on dude; are you some fucking advocate for the Police Officers of America or something? If it was that big of a deal then they wouldn't allow tint on SUV's or truck either; and it would be nation wide, not just in select states. To me the law is flawed and thats why it is "bullshit", if it was across the board for all vehicles that would be fine but they only enforce the law on cars that cannot be considered a limo or whatever; do they think that SUV and truck owners don't have guns to pull on them?

The tint laws to me are just another way to get people stopped for other reasons like DUI's or just to give them a ticket to get more money for the county.
