They do? Maybe 10 years ago. Now they just feature how to make 3whp by putting a paid sponsor's air filter on and a bunch of bodykitted "JDM" crap. I wouldn't wipe my ass with a Turbo magazine and I used to eagerly anticipate every issue at the local store. They've bowed down to their target market, the 17-year old asian kid working at Burger King that spray paints his factory rims bronze.

Yeah, they do. It belongs to the Tech Editor, Aaron Bonk. It's a 1G, AWD. It's just two guys doing the magazine, so it sounds like it's pretty crazy over there. I think you might be thinking of Super Street. Now that's a bad magazine.

I think magazines, like internet forums, are really only useful to anyone until they know everything. Once you know everything, whatever people have to talk about is boring old news. But new people, rookies, etc., like myself to the DSM scene, still wanna know about stupid stuff like whether or not an intake is worth it and how to install a boost controller and gauge.

No, I'm definitely thinking of Turbo. I had every issue from about 1994 til I stopped reading it a few years ago. I waited in anticipation every month for the next installment of Mike Ferrara's project Talon. Yeah, nowadays the tech articles would pretty much be a waste of time to read, but coverage of real street cars that are fast would still be an interesting read every month. My favorite cover had a busty girl bending over the open hood of a turbocharged Miata.

I remember when Stupid Street came along, it was good for about a year. They were irreverent which was funny. But they really did the JDM thing which got old real quick. Turbo at least had informative articles, SS did not.
