I know the WG controls the amount of boost the Turbo runs. but doesn't the hot side make the boost? If you are getting 10psi at 5400 shouldn't you look at your turbo. I know you might of said it was new...but could the fins on the hots side be shot. Granted I am not using the right name for that. But you do get my point right? If you can not find a leak in the intake then look at were the exhaust is going. You have a 2g mani or something better? Is the engine tired out or is it from a freash rebuild. I don't know I am grasping at straws because this is stumping me too. Go back to the Boost controler see if thats messed up again.... How about your head could it have a bent valve... or a few. I hope you find the problem. It could be the WG after all. And switching to a Tial will fix the problem! Give HKS a call again. Talk to someone else.
